มาดูตัวอย่างกันคะ เมื่อเราต้องการที่จะลดรูปประโยคนี้ ควรเขียนยังไง

The girl (who sits here) is my sister.

เขียนลดรูปได้เป็น

The girl (sitting here) is my sister. ในประโยคนี้ จะเห็นว่า “sitting here”

เป็นส่วนขยาย และเป็น present simple มาจากประโยคเดิมที่เป็น ไม่ได้แปลว่ากำลังนั่งอยู่
