☞ Penguins are found in the south temperate and antarctic regions. The king penguins (Aptenodytes Patachonica, and Aptenodytes longirostris) are the largest; the jackass penguins (Spheniscus) and the rock hoppers (Catarractes) congregate in large numbers at their breeding grounds. [ 1913 Webster ]
