‖n. [ NL. See Phyllo-, and -some body. ] (Zool.) The larva of the spiny lobsters (Palinurus and allied genera). Its body is remarkably thin, flat, and transparent; the legs are very long. Called also glass-crab, and glass-shrimp. [ 1913 Webster ]
