Coyotillo

‖n. [ Mex. Sp. dim. See Coyote. ] A low rhamnaceous shrub (Karwinskia humboldtiana) of the southwestern United States and Mexico. Its berries are said to be poisonous to the coyote. [ Webster 1913 Suppl. ]
