euphonium

n. [ NL., fr. L. euphorbeum, from Gr. &unr_;; -- so called after Euphorbus, a Greek physician. ] (Med.) An inodorous exudation, usually in the form of yellow tears, produced chiefly by the African Euphorbia resinifera.
