Revest

v. t. [ OF reverstir, F. revêtir, L. revestire; pref. re- re- + vestire to clothe, fr. vestis a garment. See Vestry, and cf. Revet. ] 1. To clothe again; to cover, as with a robe; to robe. [ 1913 Webster ]
