{Kneeled} (n[=e]ld); p. pr. & vb. n. {Kneeling}.] [OE.
knelen, cneolien; akin to D. knielen, Dan. kn[ae]le. See
{Knee}.]
To bend the knee; to fall or rest on the knees; -- sometimes
with down.
