Pitcher \Pitch"er\, n. [OE. picher, OF. pichier, OHG. pehhar,
pehh[=a]ri; prob. of the same origin as E. beaker. Cf.

spout or protruding lip and a handle; a water jug or jar
with a large ear or handle.
