vb. n. {Stupefying}.] [F. stup['e]fier, fr. L. stupere to be
stupefied + ficare (in comp.) to make, akin to facere. See
{Stupid}, {Fact}, and cf. {Stupefacient}.] [Written also
{stupify}, especially in England.]
