{Gathered}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Gathering}.] [OE. gaderen, AS.
gaderian, gadrian, fr. gador, geador, together, fr. g[ae]d
fellowship; akin to E. good, D. gaderen to collect, G. gatte
husband, MHG. gate, also companion, Goth. gadiliggs a
