Brand \Brand\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Branded}; p. pr. & vb. n.
{Branding}.].
1. To burn a distinctive mark into or upon with a hot iron,
to indicate quality, ownership, etc., or to mark as
infamous (as a convict).
